Terms of Service

Welcome to editors.biz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and editors.biz, operated by SalesBeast LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("we", "us", "the Service"), governing your use of our website and video-editing services. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What we do

editors.biz is a productized video-editing service. You upload raw footage; professional editors cut it; every video passes our quality review before delivery. We edit shorts, long-form video, and podcasts.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase editing services.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Orders, pricing, and payment

• All prices are displayed before you pay — on our pricing page and at checkout. The price you confirm is the price you're charged.
• For shorts and long-form orders, we analyze the actual runtime of your uploaded footage. Each order includes up to 4 minutes of raw footage per finished minute; footage beyond that allowance is charged at the rate shown to you before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

4. Credits and subscriptions

• 1 credit equals $10 of editing value. Credits are a prepaid balance for our services only — they have no cash value, are non-transferable, and can't be redeemed for cash.
• Monthly packages and custom monthly plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing page — no fees, no phone calls.
• While subscribed, unused credits roll over up to 2× your monthly amount. If you cancel, remaining credits stay spendable through the end of your paid billing period, then expire.
• One-time credit purchases don't expire while your account is in good standing.

5. Revisions and delivery

• Every order includes unlimited revisions. Revisions are changes to the video you ordered, requested through the timestamped comments in your dashboard — they aren't a way to order a different video, add new footage beyond your order's allowance, or repurpose an order into new work.
• Typical turnaround is stated on our site; unless we agree to a deadline in writing, turnaround times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.

6. Your content and ownership

• You keep full ownership of the footage you upload and, once your order is paid for, you own the finished, delivered video.
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, edit, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service (including the automated quality review described in Section 8).
• You're responsible for having the rights to everything you upload — footage, music, images, and the people appearing in them.
• We deliver finished videos, not project files or timelines.

7. Acceptable use

Don't upload or request edits of content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that harasses or endangers anyone. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion (with a refund of amounts paid for undelivered work in that order).

8. AI-assisted features

We use AI to make the Service better: an automated quality review checks every submitted cut before delivery, AI assistants answer sales and support questions, and editor messages may be polished for clarity. AI processing is overseen by our US-based management team, and content flagged by automated review is checked by a human. See our Privacy Policy for which providers process what.

9. Working with our editors

All communication with editors happens inside the platform. You agree not to solicit our editors for work outside editors.biz, and our editors agree to the same — it's how we keep quality accountable and everyone protected.

10. Refunds

Our first answer to any problem is unlimited revisions — we'd rather fix the video than argue about it. If something has genuinely gone wrong, contact us at hello@editors.biz or through support chat and a human will review your case. Refunds are handled case-by-case and, when granted, are returned to your original payment method or as credits, at your choice.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost content (keep copies of your raw footage).

12. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, delivered videos remain yours; Sections 6, 10, 11, and 13 survive.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
