Privacy Policy

This policy explains what editors.biz — operated by SalesBeast LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company — collects, why, and who touches it. Plain English, no fine print — the same way we do everything else.

1. What we collect

• Account details — your name, email, and password (stored hashed; we can't read it).
• Your content — footage, brand assets, briefs, style preferences, and the finished videos we deliver.
• Messages — conversations with your editor, support and sales chats (including with our AI assistants), and revision comments.
• Payment records — handled by Stripe. We keep records of what you bought; we never see or store your full card number.
• Basic logs — IP addresses and requests, for security and debugging.

We use Meta (Facebook) tools to measure our advertising and see how visitors find us: the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta's Conversions API on our server. These set cookies and share page visits and conversion events (such as signups and completed orders) with Meta. Where an event includes identifying details like your email, we cryptographically hash them before sending. We don't use other analytics cookies, and we never sell your data. Otherwise, cookies on editors.biz exist to keep you logged in.

2. How we use it

• To edit and deliver your videos — the reason you're here.
• To run our quality review: every submitted cut goes through an automated AI check (frames, audio transcript, comparison against your brief) before it reaches you, with human managers reviewing anything flagged.
• To answer your questions, by human or AI assistant.
• To bill you correctly and send service emails (receipts, password resets, order updates). No marketing spam.

3. Who processes your data

We use a small set of service providers, each only for what they're named for:

Your content is sent to AI providers only to perform the specific task (for example, reviewing a delivered cut) and is not used by us to train models.

4. Who can see your content

• Your footage and projects are private. Downloads are access-controlled — nothing sits on a public link that isn't protected by a long random token or a login.
• Editors see only the projects assigned to them, and only your first name — never your contact details.
• Our US-based management team can access projects to run quality control and support.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your content while your account is active so revisions and re-orders stay easy. Want something gone? Email hello@editors.biz and we'll delete your account and stored content within 30 days, except records we must keep (like payment history) for legal and accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — whichever privacy law applies to you (GDPR, CCPA, or none at all), the answer is the same: email us and a human will handle it.

7. Children

editors.biz is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
